In September 2024, CNTSUN successfully won the bid for the Songhe Town Huineng 80MW Integrated Photovoltaic Project. Currently, the project has completed delivery, and all work is progressing steadily and smoothly.
Located in Songhe Town, Jingshan, Jingmen City, Hubei Province, which is known as the land of fish and rice, the project location is situated in the transitional zone between Hubei and the Jianghan Plain, which has abundant sunshine resources.

Confronted with challenges in complex terrain and geological conditions, connecting to the power grid, and protecting the environment, all departments collaborated closely to overcome difficulties during the process. The Technical Department designs detailed solutions for safe and fast construction while reducing costs and increasing efficiency. The Production Department increases production capacity to meet the schedule and ensure on-time delivery. The Quality Inspection Department oversees the production process to ensure products meet national standards. Currently, the supply of all solar mounting systems is completed with a smooth process.
The project adopts the fixed ground mounting system in fishery-solar hybrid solar mounting. By installing the photovoltaic array at the optimal tilt angle, the system ensures a lasting and stable operation of the photovoltaic panels to the maximum extent.
This mode can achieve power generation on the system and fish farming under the system. Through the shading of photovoltaic panels, this mode reduces water temperature and promotes algae growth, which contributes to aquaculture incomes and increases the income from the sale of electricity.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of January 2025. After completion, it will not only improve the utilization rate of local land resources but also enhance the breeding environment, which will increase breeding capacity and promote the dual improvement of ecological and economic benefits.
